Tyler Crandall discovered Salsa in 2002 in Vermont and quickly fell in love with the music, movement, and community. By 2008 he was teaching his own Salsa classes, and just two years later he joined Kizomba Canada, a professional team based in Montreal. With them, Tyler performed, taught, and competed at festivals across North America and even in Spain, gaining international experience and a deep understanding of Latin partner dances.

In 2016, Tyler moved to California and founded Dsantos Dance CA, specializing in Salsa and Kizomba. In 2020, his vision grew into North Bay SBK Dance, now one of Sonoma County’s leading Latin dance schools. With six talented instructors on his team, North Bay SBK offers a full spectrum of classes in Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk, and Cumbia—bringing authentic Latin dance to dancers of all levels.

Since 2022, Tyler has worked closely with World Champion dancer and competition judge Anya Katsevman, elevating his own dancing and opening doors for his students to shine on competitive stages across the country. Today, he offers both group classes and personalized private instruction from his home studio, blending high-level technical training with the joy and artistry of social dance.
